Welcome to the Mid-Cities (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated! I am honored to serve as our chapter’s 12th President, preceded by 11 outstanding educators, business executives, and servant leaders. My mission starts with preserving the legacy of commitments delivered to the communities we serve (Arlington, Grand Prairie and Irving) while focusing on top of mind issues that need our immediate attention. We are committed to service, especially as it helps the underserved of all ages and the children in our community. Services to youth through STEM Education and Career Awareness, The Arts, along with National and International trending focus on those in need are a priority as we strive to provide youth the highest level of exposure to STEM fields of study and professions.

The Links, Incorporated is one of the largest and oldest women’s volunteer service organizations in our nation, with over 14,000 predominantly African American women, across 285 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.

Our chapter’s membership is comprised of 50 professional ladies, bonded in friendship and service, who possess hearts for giving and serving. The Mid-Cities (TX) Links Chapter was founded 32 years ago, April 20, 1985 with 25 women. We are celebrating the 25th anniversary of our Black Tie Boxing, “A Knockout Affair” Fundraiser. We owe huge thanks to all of our friends, sponsors, patrons and donors who enable our signature programs and the Sally Moore LINKED 2 STEM Scholarship to thrive year after year.  The Sally Moore Scholarship helps send young ladies to college who are majoring in STEM degrees.

Please enjoy our website! We welcome your support and feedback and feel free to reach out to me at any time.
